When she isn’t eating 18 oz. rib-eye steaks at the speed of a 24 year old construction worker, you will find her working hard to keep the camp staff in line and the campground running at all hours of the day and night. If you see Shigeko around camp, show her some appreciation for turning a “junkyard” into the beautiful camp we enjoy today.
The man who made it all happen. His vision, combined with the tenacity of Shigeko “The Oracle” Clarkson, transformed a “junkyard” in the middle of the forest into the beautiful campground we now enjoy each summer. RIP Jack!

When he isn’t procrastinating on a pending reservation, you will find him contemplating giving his mother his resignation, but the threat of getting a real job thwarts it every time.
